What the best route to get wires up to the overhead console area?

Hope I don't have to lower the whole headliner.
Did that in my old Dodge Ramcharger and couple years later it started to seperate the cloth material from the foam cardboard backer.
I swear if I never would have touched it, it would have been fine. But maybe not too.

Any photos or links on how to, much appreciated.

Up the pillars and along the front edge of the headliner. You can tuck wires without having to pull it down, as long as you arent running 8 gauge or something ridiculous. Or are you? Are you running a ceiling mounted subwoofer? Post pics!

Running wires thru firewall and thru floor grommet. Both drivers side kick panel and floor e-brake area.

No 8gauge wire or sub. That would pound in my only one good ear. Ha ha.

I just want to run a bank of switch's in flip down sun glasses holder, wire from hard install mute for radar detector, small LMR100 coaxial cable for cell booster. All small cables.

You can run the wires up through the A pillar and up into the headliner, just gotta get funky with it and get your arm up in there to feed the wires up past the dash

With the A pillar trim off, run from the top of dash down. Easier than going up.

Use plastic bicycle tire tools to gently pull leading edge of headliner down to tuck wires.

Oooo, I do like the tire leavers for a trick.

There's no risk for clips breaking, roof panel dropping, not fitting back or other bad effects?

There's risk in everything you're touching. Even if you dont ham fist the headliner, your wiring could burn down the truck. :D

Joking aside, you only pry and tuck wire short distances at a time, not the whole thing at once.

Easily held the cable for my SCII that way.

What’s your plan for the switches? Making your own or buying a panel? I’m looking for a good spot to put a couple

Stick a straightened wire coat hanger down through the dash from the a-pillar. Tape your wires to it and snake back up.

I have my gps power wire, and my ultra gauge wire run through the dash, then the ultra gauge goes up the a-pillar and across the front of the headliner to the mirror.

    I hate visible wires.

I was think of just cutting up the flip down to accept say 5 switch's.
Then I ran across the me-so customs one and might go that route.
I do like the switch pro but more than I need, anything like it... well knock offs aren't my thing.

But a good flick of a switch does the trick.
