@Nimble9 were you happy that you switched from steelies with rings to a lighter wheel? Joe wants to go alloy wheels to steel and I’m telling him it’s not a great idea due to weight. Curious on your input.

Well being that I’m not wheeling as much anymore I’m very happy. The gain in mpg and acceleration is astounding. That said I went from steel wheels with rock rings and E load tires to aluminum wheels with D load tires.

Last time I wheeled though I wasn’t as confident in my d loads as my E loads.

I’d say have two sets. A daily set and a wheeling Set :)

My current tires are D and I love them. Jury is still out if me tearing a sidewall 4 months in was pure coincidence or if they’re inherently weaker. Good thing for replacement certificates! Thanks for the input.

Awww, that's nice. Do you just have the one other son? I finally heard mention of the earthquakes in Utah on the tv this morning.

All your fears became my nightmare the other day Miguel. I went out on Sunday and and my right front tire was flat. I was at the dump the day before but upon checking I couldn't find anything in it. I remembered I used a HF tire fill valve after going to the dump to top off my truck tires. When I sprayed the valve with simple green it foamed up. Somehow (but we know how) the schrader valve was lose. I can't remember that ever happening since I've been driving. I threw it away and now I'm using my older one. The tire remains inflated.

You just feel the aftershock a few minutes ago? It was a pretty long one and definitely had some roll to it!

I could have mowed this last weekend, but opted not too.

My children's age spread is 10 minutes apart :anonymous: One boy and one girl.

Relax, relax, their twins (i.e. only one mom).

I just wanted to rant a little, but I think this is the stupidest fucking thing ever. Let me get this expensive system that takes up the entirety of my hood to mount a couple traction boards. JFC people, nest the two of these together and toss them in the cargo area. Or spend that money on a roof rack and mount them up there, then still have 80% of your roof rack for other shit.
