The remote lock fob has started to work intermittently, most times it works, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it takes a couple tries. Replaced the fob battery with no change. I have an issue where the doors lock a short time after being unlocked, perhaps these problems are related.
    Any ideas?

Doors will relock after fob unlock IF a door is not opened in 30 seconds.

    Any chance that's what's happening?

Try cleaning the fob buttons (on the circuit board) with electronic cleaner. CRC is a good one

I cleaned the fob PCB when I changed the battery, it looks fine. Since both buttons work/don't work at the same time, I don't think a button or buttons are broken. I wonder if there is a loose wire on the recieving end or a defective door switch that's preventing it from locking. I might try another battery. It's new, but who knows these days?

For about 6 months I thought my passenger door lock was going bad as it worked with the fob intermittently. Assumed motor was bad and resisted pulling the whole thing apart. Wonders never cease, couple of months ago my fob was sketchy so I replaced the battery, marginal improvement so I replaced the fob. Well the passenger door works without any issues now.

Yeah, something isn't right. Can't complain because intermittent electrical problems are so much fun.
