Yeah, if you have a thin leaf pack like stock, I recommend trimming ubolts so there is only 1/2" of thread above nuts

Did some testing with the new Option 3 Archive Speed bumps, very happy with the performance.
Testing conditions were my 2000 1st gen Tundra AC, with over 1000lbs of steel at back of bed, Fox 2.0x12 (non adj), light leaf pack, to make sure the bumps were really getting fully tested. I have a seasonal road I do suspension testing on, it has all kinds of heaving and a little kicker bump that helps you use a lot of suspension travel. It landed so smooth, it makes you want to go faster.

Design of the Speed bumps achieves a soft engagement while slowing weight down over a greater distance, and maintaining as much bump travel as possible, critical for moderate speed capabilities on 2nd/3rd gen Tacoma and 1g Tundra.

Installed pics are with truck loaded down w/ 1000+lbs

I have a customer with TC bump kit, and his is landing right in middle just outboard of spring pin hole.

Can you post more pics showing brackets?

Thanks for pics. I think you are worried because is doesn't look lined up at normal ride height, but the axle moves forward after spring goes flat

Hey @ARCHIVE about to pull the trigger on the bolt flip kit for 2019 Tacoma
I just want to make sure that my rear ads piggyback reservoir won’t have issues interfering with the plate. ?

Those are pretty. I think as long as the piggyback resi is pointed away from axle, there should be no issues. So driver side, resi towards rear bumper, and passenger side, resi towards front bumper, but I am no ADS to say that works for those shocks.

    How long are those compressed?

    Hey Eric,
I ordered the super bumps option. Should I have ordered your bump stops? Is it too late to change my mind?
Also, I’m debating ordering the deaver expedition leaf pack, but I currently have the Dakar heavy duty pack, will I have any issues installing these bump stops and cutting u bolts to fit Dakars and then having them fit the deavers later on? Or should I wait to install once I have the deavers?
    Thanks
    Thanks

It depends, if you have really long shocks in stock location (compressed length over 15.5"), then you may want to stay with Option 4 Super Bumps.
As for U-bolts, I wouldn't trim them, it will probably be nice fit without trimming. If there is a long time between the installs you mention, then you may want to get a fresh set of ubolts anyway, U-bolts are a wear item that ideally should be replaced after they get rusted or bent during torquing.

I made some 1/2" bump stop spacers for the rear that will sandwich between the u bolt flip plate and the bump stop itself. Just wanted a little extra margin of error to protect my shocks in the case of a hard bottom out. Just need to get some longer hardware and will bolt them on. These are for the archive garage bumps.
