Yep, I’m going to use a YJ tub and use the rear tub corners to make a “cab” then tube out the rear.

Nice!!!!! I'm contemplating the WOD LJ chassis and doing some thing like that. But I'd really like to build something like 6oh_taco on IG built. 1st gen taco buggy. Similar to the goat built and WOD LJ chassis.

Frame on passenger side needed some clearance for the drag link.

Still need to add more to the top of the frame to make up for taking half of it out.
Maybe add some tube from the shock hoop forward to help strengthen it up.

I've got to do this to mine. I'm going back and forth between notching and moving the air bump and limit the up travel.

It’s not too bad to notch it. I’d always prefer to have as much up travel as possible.

You see that Skip sold gulches? I'm getting pretty antsy with everything going on. This is getting pretty boring with the shut downs.

Question why didn't you plate the frame to stiffen it up. Most guys I've seen plated the front half of the frame to add some strength especially with a steering box.

Took the bed off to finish welding it and add a little more bracing.
Hopefully going wheeling this weekend. Been way to long.

I do not when you going? I'd be down to ride. Also might want to call and see if they are going to be open with the new owners and all.

Didn’t make it to Gulches. Tow rig decided to take a dump.
So I relocated the shocks and I’ll just daily this for a little while.
    Also made the bed removable.

Looks a whole lot better and lower with fender flares.
Need to order the correct fasteners for them.
