2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Manual Transmission, Super White Dealer installed Stock Toyota Options - Tailgate Remote Lock, Bed Mat, Bed Lighting, Cargo Divider and Toyota Roof Rack (Roof rack is stock but due to manufacture change in Jan 2020 the roof rack does not work as designed and side rail bars do not extend stock bars horizontally without hitting the antenna when there is weight and thus functions as side rails only) Dealer installed Non-Toyota Additions - Yakima HD Bars (again, over the roof rack for uniformity since stock bars do not go horizontal without hitting antenna with weight on) Retrax Bed Cover Yakima HD Bars over Bed Cover Yakima Rubber strips on HD Bars Yakima Roller fitted upside down to roll up Laser Sail Boat
Can anyone recommend a rear grill for protection (and maybe a front grill also .. while I am at it.. but front grill is not as important)? Requirements are that there should not be any cutting of stock parts and should fit well, should be black, sturdy and should not interfere with any camera or other technology in the truck.

With all the texting drivers, I wanted some additional protection especially in the rear bumper area (rear grill). This 2020 model has more technology than any of my little sports cars (which can probably take a minor fender bender more easily and with less damage) and I do not want anyone to mess up whatever technology is installed on the vehicle by crashing into my rear bumper. I wouldn't have ordered any of the technical assists but since I needed manual transmission, brightest possible lights and heated seats, I just went with the TRD Pro.

I did a search for grill and found a request for a front grill with no responses as of today.

    Thanks for any comment.

He bought a manual. Give him a little extra time.

I installed a bug screen behind the front grill when I owned a 2012 Tacoma. Is that what you are referring to?

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I think I mean an add-on bumper that goes over whatever is already on the truck painted white (fender?). Sorry, when I first drove a truck a long time ago, we did not have bumpers or people texting. And trucks did not have anything at the back except the truck bed, if at all. So I thought what came stock on the vehicle was the bumper, painted white and thus any addition had to be named something else (or so I thought).

Thank you for the links. The links will, in all likelihood, answer all questions. Apologies for searching and then asking for the wrong item. As OMGitsme rightly pointed out, I am driving a manual and need that extra time and thus even more concerned about those behind me at traffic lights expecting a truck that dashes off at green.

    Thanks also to Rockefelluh
