    Honestly I like the GFC a little more due to the fact it has the side tracks on the top to mount an awning.

    although I will be selling my current shell/awning/and toprac for this set up

    Well after extensive researching and talking with both manufactures I’ve reserved my spot in the production line.

    I’m going with the GFC. The ability for full side access, modular mounting tracks, and shorter sleeping platform cater to my needs more. Come on November 2020! :rofl:

    Both are excellent products. The Although I will not have a drop down front cab slider or a solid aluminum roof (like the drifter) I feel I went with the best fit for me.

    After owning an awning for a bit now and taking it on some trips I’ve realized some things.

    I like the 270 but some features I’d like to have
    - would prefer it to mount on the driver side since I have a passenger side swing out. (So it stops over the swing arm)
    -in high winds I’m uneasy to deploy even with guy lines
    -the lack of pitch posts to drain rain is a Pain in the mornings especially when cold
    -the Darche was tan and my truck is silver and black (color OCD)

    After some research about what works with the GFC camper(which isn’t much) I found the Kinsman Hardware awning. This thing is probably the most durable awning on the market and has all the features listed above! The price was a bit more but man this thing holds up in 45mph winds it’s crazy!!! Check em out on IG @kinsmanhardware

    I grabbed one today in prep for my GFC come the end of 2020!

    New dash set up! Loving this look it’s busy but clean! I fell even more in love with the head unit after I realized you can run GIA GPS on apple car play!

    Got my replacement adapt bar in today brand new thanks to the good folks at rigid.

    Donno what happened with my other bar but it started strobing... and that’s not a feature... Rigid lifetime warranty replaced no questions asked.
