How about if you go fishing solo? Trying to take out the kayak for the Rockfish/Salmon openers next month.

Yeah, if anyone needs tackle but doesn’t want to or can’t go get it in-person, tacklewarehouse forsure. Even through all this chaos, got half my order this morning (less than 24 hours after placing the order) and my new rod is coming anytime now.

Should be good on plastics for a awhile:

I ordered from that Cotati place. Monster fishing tackle last week. Got my stuff in two days.

Went out to Berryessa yesterday. Caught 4 small mouth. The clarity was nuts, could see 20’ down and watch them swim around but not take my bait.
Only thing working yesterday was the jerkbait.

It's currently on jack stands in the garage. Taking off the outside paint has proven to be a pain in my ass. Still waiting on the registration stickers. When I mailed the updated forms, I forgot to sign them. It's taken forever! As soon as I have them I'm taking it out!

Yeah I’ll fucking lose my mind. I can only run and walk outside so much. If they’re about to put a hammer down on fishing, then they may as well put a hammer down on all outdoor activities.

Still just a rumor, trying not to get my blood pressure too high yet. Fishing is my only outlet right now, and I’ve gone to obscure spots down on the rocks, not near anyone else. I can see closing down all public piers and boat ramps/etc but hopefully not a blanket ban. Not a good sign that Washington State has a blanket ban

I was just gonna say, a total ban on fishing seems crazy. I can’t imagine how many folks are outraged up there.

Washington is also a major epicenter for it since it really started to grow here domestically. Hopefully because CA has been fairly proactive it won’t reach that height.

    X2!

I’ll comply to be socially responsible for my fellow man, but I really want a section of beach to myself right now.

definitely has shutdown the HalfMoon Bay charter boats, San Mateo County health won't allow them to operate, since there is no way to ensure social distancing - once there is spray, most people go into the cabin, which is a bunch of table/booth seating. but like you guys, i view fishing as a social distancing activity already.

although, i read that a guy came back in with his kayak and people were swarming him too closely to see his catch. so he's not going to go out on the yak anymore
