Several things have happened in the last month that I have forgotten to document.

Got the @MESO map lights and dome lights installed from the black truckIMG_20200305_201623.jpg IMG_20200305_201632.jpg IMG_20200305_201637.jpg

Picked up the revalved fronts from @desertjunkie760
    IMG_20200314_174603.jpg

And just today got the Fox Rears to go with the @ARCHIVE relocation kit. They are kinda big.

There's a plan in place to prevent that. Clear 3M film to cover the affected areas.

Went out to Valley of the Moon with @Prayn4surf and @eccracer104 a few weekends ago. Rode along with Tim for VoM and then the BRWNTRD got it's first taste of it's new life. Definitely pushed the stock shocks well past their limit on a high speed run into Jacumba.

And the truck has continued to stay rubber side down, no change in the flopping status.

Some more movement, ordered this bad boy
    plate.jpg

Ordered some parts to upgrade the electrical system from @SDHQ OFFROAD and a winch switch bracket from @Gilmorec61

Getting sliders put to together by @desertjunkie760 in the morning and then off to powder Monday for a coating with the closest match I can find, likely Satin Bronze, tired of black but not sure I'm ready for Red sliders.

@desertjunkie760 mocked up and welded the sliders on Saturday while I fought the rivets on the hangers. He got 8 legs welded on, I managed to get the 4 on the driver's side out.

Dropped the welded sliders off to get powder coated matte bronze. Not a perfect match but better than another black set.

Received the Winch Switch Bracket from @Gilmorec61 today as well as the Blue Sea 6006 switch I ordered separately. I'm very impressed by the bracket, fit is perfect and the included directions will make what seemed like a simple install painless.IMG_20200408_204921__01.jpg

Now I need to decide on what sticker to use for the switch, likely propeller 2.

SwitchPro 9100 from @velogeek was delivered to @AY_ARONTRD for him to do his magic.

And I installed a new passenger fender liner to replace the one that's been missing since I bought the truck, no more worries about splashing through puddles.

That will likely be awhile as the bumper is currently just chunks of metal at the fab shop

Exciting stuff... custom or is it a DIY weld bumper kit?

Aluminum is certainly the way to go! That is if you're not beating on it constantly...

I beat on the one on the black truck and it isn't that awful, still basically a bumper

Nope, black truck is in lockup, seems the body shop is closed for rona season. and the terra grapplers are buried in the storage unit. 265s are plenty for a stock height truck

True that. I’ve got an All-Pro alum and it’s been stout for all the winching of subjected it to. Haven’t beaten it up much though.

I've smashed mine into all sorts of things and winched myself and several others out of some tough situations. I don't think a steel version would have handled it any better and I bet the truck is greatly appreciated of the light weight.
