Had to remove my sway bar, was touching the bottom of the passenger side shock.
This is my truck now, actually I have added a winch since this pick.

I know this is a dumb question.

Any v6 autos with armor? Anyone have an average mpg if so?

I have 315/75/16s (35s) and im getting anywhere from 10-13.5. Usually solid average of 13 day to day stuff. Just looking to see if downsizing eventually would get me back up to 15ish. Havent been offroading much anymore so id like to gain some highway mileage for when i go dirtbiking.

    I do.
LCA and gas tank plate too. I have a cap with a rack and a Prinsu as well.
The armor barely had any effect, probably a wash with the improved air flow underneath.
The racks were a big negative, probably 2 mpg.
Tire weight seems to be the biggest issue, more weight to spin, lower mpg.
15 around town, 17 highway up and down hills at 65ish, can get 19 on long turnpike and interstate trips if I stay at 65.
Whens she is naked, I have seen 20-22, but I drive like a trucker on long runs.
    Your results may vary.

Appreciate it. Definitely going to consider going down. I went from stock to the 315s so i have no 33 experience

By chance, did you correct your speedometer when you swapped to 35's? I thought my MPG's went down a bunch on getting 33's, but a good chunk of that ended up being the gauges just reading off by 8%.

Love the look. Going for just about the exact same thing, color and all haha. How do you like the tire size? Any rubbing or issues?

love the tall skinnies very capable of eating dirt, highway over 70mph not bad but definitely feels like a regearing is coming soon. Towing the boat with the new set up kills the gas. Very little rubbing and its only when barley turning and going into a drive way that has a gutter in front have never rubbed off road just doing that

Dang. Such a good look haha. Have you done any trimming or massaging of the inner fender yet? I think this size is going to end up what I go with. But I wanted to see who all had highway experience because about 50% of my commute is highway 70+

no trimming at all or anything, highway cruise control is no bueno revs super high. But if its not a long commute and keep the rpms down feels fine. Mine right at 70 is sitting right at 2000rpm which isnt too bad but cruise control at 70 is like 3500rpm. I am most likely getting the 5.29’s when i do the regear so towing at those highway speeds the motor and tranny doesnt struggle.

The tires are 16x7.5” trd beadlocks (beadlock piece removed) i believe with a +10 offset. The toyo mt 255/85/16. Id say the poke from the fender well out is about 3/8”. From stock trd to the bilstien is about 4-4.5” taller sits same exact height of a fullsize maybe a taller

Ok, so I've been making my way through the 242 pages of this thread and it seems like I'm good to go with 255/85r16 BFG KM2s on TRD Pro wheels. I've got a 2019 Tacoma OR that I'm planning to lift with the 2" OME heavy duty lift kit.

I ran km2s with a fox 2.5 setup. Was pretty easy on them. Got 35k out of them. They’re pretty loud but bareable. I’d got with km3s next, they seem to get good reviews, but doubt the mileage is better
