Hey guys I test drove a 2018 trd sport with a 3 inch spacer lift installed by a dealership. As I would go around some turns I would hear a machine humming noise kick in and then disappear. I brought it up to the salesman and he said it was some sort of device to correct lean with the lift. I don’t know enough about this stuff and I felt like I couldn’t trust the salesman completely. Have you guys ever heard of this or use these? Are they long term reliable? I know spacer lifts are crap. I’m aware of that. It has 20 inch rims as well which I felt really robbed the power of the 3.5liter.

Why would you buy that? Anyway, could be needle bearing or a host of other things.

    Lots, straight from the factory.
3” spacer lift on 20s. I’d stay away.
Noises from a device correcting lean from the lift. I have oceanfront property for sale here in Arizona also.

Guy is full of shit. It’s probably tires rubbing, spring binding, or some sort of noise caused by a shitty lift. That’s my 2 cents.

That’s what I thought. He had to be full of shit. I walked away from the truck like 4 days ago but was still wondering. It was a electronic machine little noise. Really strange

What would cause a electronic pump noise or something to come on when turning around in a circle. It was only coming from the right side.

It definitely wasn’t tire rub or spring recoil.
