Really mellow on the nose at first but after sipping for a bit it gets stronger on the burny. Sweet smells at first though. Vanilla maybe?

Sweet again on first taste for just a brief moment. Medium viscosity. Goes to spicy oak with more burn than I would've thought for this being less than 100 proof. Burn lingers a bit. Almost like a cigar/tobacco aftertaste. That one is hard to describe. Like a dirty mouth feel but not a bad thing :rofl:some chocolate at the very very end.

    I'm walking into something I can tell:laugh:

Overall I'd say really good! Not sure if I've got that Woodford double oaked on my mind but it flowed in a similar sweet to darker profiles kind of way. Just less intense of transitions, more homogeneous like you'd hope.

If I could combine this with double oaked, the profiles, not the actual liquid... The stronger chocolate with the vanilla, with more refined transitions. That would be

Now to really round it out... I'm off to have a salami sandwich... @bvbull200 and @Bigdaddy4760 know...

They love my brisket and fatties. I've treated them to lunch before, but they prefer I cook and bring it up there. I'll do that when we return. In the interim, I'm trying to figure out the logistics of me cooking a fatty for everyone, then arranging a safe pickup from a location near the office that let's everyone pick theirs up from a spot adequately separate of everyone else. They're all discussing ideas in our group Teams chat. It's pretty funny.

    That's a brilliant idea!

I was thinking about those little Domino's Pizza cars with the door on the side and ya pull up and the people take out the foil pan.. but a Fatty Gun is WAY better!!

Wish I was closer man I would pitch in with helping cook em up for sending out. I wish I had my big smoker and access to some good meat supplies I would cook up a bunch to be given out to those who need it.

Finnished a bottle of Nikka from the Barrel and repurposed the bottle for thr fiancé's vodka. She like it cold so we keep it in the freezer, but the giant OEM bottle takes up too much space. Space in the freezer is at a premium.

Hell I've slept since then... but if IRC it was just a few bucks over retail. It was a bundle with 2 1792 Full Proof picks and 1 1792 BIB pick and the total was around 160 for all four bottles.
