So I have my Rotopax canisters doubled up...anyone experience noticeable drag due to it sticking past the body of the car much more? Was thinking of moving the fuel so that it's only 1 layer (water on one side and fuel on the other...)

    Thoughts?

You could fab an air dam from the front of the bed mount to the top of the gas can handle area.
But I’d just move the other rotopax to the opposite side so its single stacked and flush with the cab if it was me..

I thought about mounting my recovery boards on top like yours if I move the gas tanks to the other side...how do you like it there? I was afraid of undo pressure from the wind...but I'm no engineer - not sure how the wind flows over the top.

How often are you really driving around with them mounted? You're overthinking it I believe.
