Young dude was impatient waiting to turn out of a parking lot and just backed into us without looking. Will drop off Ryans truck when my tundra is ready. :frusty:

2020 is by far the worst year of my life so far, so I can relate.

We have gas log fireplace and the previous owner ran a tee off to the deck and left about 80% full. Idk if we have propane or natty gas but it burns and cooks food. Also ribs.

I've always eyed up those grills hardcore. How long have you had it? Is it covered when you don't use it? How are the grates holding up? I've got the small charcoal version that's starting to rust out after 5 years or so.

I've had it for about 3 years, never been covered it just seems to make things worse here. I just replaced the hats and brackets and working on the grates( If the company would send all 3...) on the propane side. The charcoal side if basically perfect because I use the offset firebox, which is a bit surface rusty but doing better than the propane side.

I have to cover my WSM or it gets wet inside, but since I have to cover it, the grates get funky if I don't use it every weekend. No rust, just funk. Had to deep clean the offset yesterday cause it has been covered since late last year. That was not fun.

Flip the center part over so it’s sitting upside down on the bottom piece...no more water inside.

Propane is an expensive byproduct for making diesel fuel someone's making trillions while brewers and distillers are making hand sanitizer for free from byproducts :frusty::rolleyes:

Anyone know of a dedicated thread to Sumter/Francis Marion on here? I do not see one when I search.

If not, I am going to start one up.

I've had a barrel style charcoal grill for 10 years. It's been amazing. Food tastes better on charcoal. However, I've had to replace the ash pan a few times and it's time once again for one. I've been considering a pellet grill, even more so when I learned they have charcoal pellets. I'm really considering the Pit Boss Pro 820. It was just on sale for $450 (not anymore right now, it's $500), plus I get 10% off as a veteran plus I have $150 in gift cards I can use. But I'm reluctant to spend money right now.

I like my pellet grill; simply because I can set and forget. It’s not as good as my UDS for porky stuff, but it’s more convenient.

First I’m hearing about these charcoal pellets, I’ll have to research that some...
