Hello guys. So I got and OEM hitch from a junkyard for 50 bucks. It was rusted but I took it and completely cleared it then repainted. Now it look brand new. My questions was do I need any kind of small L shaped brackets? Or any other ones as well to hold the hitch in place.

It should just bolt on if it is an OEM Hitch. Did you also get the mounting hardware (bolts) from the wrecking yard?

I have the bolts so that just leaves me with and kind of brackets if I do need any. But if it bolts onto the frame it sounds like it should be fine then.

Yes, you should use those L shaped brackets, imo. There is some play in the mounting holes, and these brackets keep the hitch from being pushed down.
