    the tread doesn't look very aggressive, so I don't think noise is going to be a problem.

    well u found the standard on line pic.
    nothing like Blue Chair Bay.
    Reviews are mixed, good on snow, some have noise, slight hum, others no noise
    All of this in about six reviews. I need more conclusive reviews before I spend that money.
    Upstate NY and I plow, so need good snow traction.

    the pattern looks similar to the BF KO2. Lotta reviews on those.

    If there are little to no reviews in this tire and you can't decide, why not buy a tire that has a lot of reviews and is tried and true?

    but, I am leaning towards just what you suggest. Thinking of going with Kumho road venture AT51.

    Be bold and go for it if you like em and the price is right. Sometimes you can get good deals on something new. My brother has gone through 2 sets of the original Firestone Destination AT tires on his Tundra and got good service out of them. I'm betting this is a good tire.

    It looks closer to the Falken Wildpeak to me than the KO2's.

    In November I took a chance on the new Pirelli tire for my F150. I could find no reviews and have yet to see another truck with those tires on it. In person or on the internet. But I'm extremely happy with them.

    I just put the XT’s on my taco the other day. I had previously used the destination AT tires and liked them.

    things I can comment on with my limited use of them so far:

    1. They are not loud at all to me. I can hear the radio just fine at a low volume. I feel they are very quiet for such an aggressive tread.

    2. They look great. I installed the 265/70r/17’s and they look wide for a 265. Must be the chunky tread along the edges.

    3. Handles great on the road.

    So far I really like them. I’ll update my post once I put them through some off road scenarios.

    That's a pretty good looking tire. I would just make sure the siping is full depth. If not, when they are about 1/2 way worn, they'll suck in the snow.

    Bilstein 5100s, AFE dry intake, Icon AAL pack, Bed stiffeners, and ideally some UCAs soon
    I just finished with firestone ATs and got some falkens, but they were great all around tires. Good on the highway, decent in the snow, and decent on mild trails. Dont plan on doing some hard up hill mud climbs etc but for a jack of all trades they work fine
