DUDE! I had 2 of these. A '77 and then a '76. The 77 was Das Bismark. Battleship gray and unsinkable. 305. Meh. But the rotating captain's chairs were the fucking bomb for fishing!

Laugh all you want brother but that 77 was bulletproof! Unitl about a week after I yanked all the idiot lights out and put gauges in there but blew off the illumination wiring at the time. Cruising home from graveyard shift when she started labor. and groaning. gave it more gas right? Passed under a streetlight and saw it...ZERO oil pressure. You know, just what the idiot light would have alerted the idiot to? Fucker sheared off the fork on the oil pump on the shaft from the distributor. :bananadead::bananadead:

My moms was a great ride too, until my brother was coming home from a concert on hwy 50 and launched it off a 50 foot embankment, bent the frame on it and he earned the nickname Turbo boost (tv show night rider was the popular series)

OK that's way worse than what I did to Das Bismark. Had the engine out and back in in 2 weeks. The apartment was fuuuucccckkkked up! I really loved that car. Drove it for almost 8 years.

The mustang I posted earlier was my first.
My dad was driving it, locked up the rear end and slid sideways only to be tboned by a very large Cadillac. Bent the frame on that, then my mom sold my car for 250 bucks scrap. The engine was cherry and approximately worth around 3000 for the bored out 351.

My first was a '72 Buick Skylark coupe. It looked a lot like a Chevelle. Only had a 350 in it though. It wasn't a bad little car for a 16 year old.

My brother had a 72 Nova with shitty "pump" brakes. I was letting her loose one time around a corner when I was a kid. Some father heard it and went in the middle of the street to force me to stop. I braked as best I could.

He jumped onto the hood about 2 feet before I came to a complete stop. Cops, suburban parents, muscle car, young driver (maybe smoking something).

    Good times.

 Winds died, flag back up. This is my moment before I head in to reflect over my coffee and a smoke. This view gives me hope from my little piece of America. I'm not a religious man, but I am spiritual. So I say to you all, be safe, stay calm, and God Bless America.
