I'm looking on the chemical guys site and man do they ever have a thousand different options. Does anyone have experience with their paint protectants or ceramic coatings? Is there one that's worth it/works well?
    Thanks

I’ve used several of their products. In my personal opinion, they sell quality products. I’ve never had an issue with any of their products. There will be many different opinions on this subject. Best wishes

I bought their water spot remover and it did nothing. Of course that is like saying that I didn't like the hot mustard from McDonalds when someone is asking about a Big Mac. I did look at their ceramic product when I was there. It was $40. There was also a wash with ceramic on the label. It was $20. The guy really couldn't tell me why it was any better or worse than the Mother's CMX that you can get for $17. I ended up getting the mother's and it did feed some shine. Not sure how well the water will slip right off since it hasn't rained.

As a detailing enthusiast, I have tried many different brands over the years. Chemical guys is not the highest quality products. Sure they have some that do work but are lacking in quality and price range for what you get. Griot’s Garage products work the best. They are pricey as well but go a long way when it comes to quality. With chemical guys it seems like you are buying different products that do different jobs such as sealants and lubricants but I have tried a lot of them and they are all the same and subpar. There micro fiber towels and drying towels are complete junk. They will leave swirl marks and will not dry well. They are a very well marketed company, I’ll give them that, but I would not waste another penny on their products. I have also started using jay Leno’s brand and they work really well. Kind of pricey but search around and there are always deals online. Griots has very good info on there website and most products have videos for proper usage. Just my 2 cents.

Chemical Guys make very good products, I use a lot of them but you may also what to check out Adams Polishes. To answer your question a good coat of wax will protect your paint what you want to do is seal your wax. Either of these products will work for you.IMG_7015.jpgIMG_7016.jpg

Griots polywax is really great for longevity. The speed shine can be used for water spots, post wash shine, or lubricant for clay bar. There drying weave towels are pricey but work excellent and last a long time, ( it will not even scratch the 3rd gen gauge cluster which is a miracle on its own!). The best of show spray wax is great and works a lot better than the CG v07 spray. All of their microfiber towels are second to none. The interior cleaner is awesome. It has no scent, which I love, and it is safe on every surface inside the car. I clean with it in my house. The satin and glossy tire spray works and lasts longer than all other brands I have tried. I will give the CG jetseal some love. I forgot about that product. I never bought it again due to disappointment Of other products.
