Lol not sure I would call mine fancy but if it does not have auto dimming you will need to go a different route.

Had some electrical issues in my Taco this week. Took it to the dealer and they blamed it on my LEDs. After arguing for a while and getting no where I got stuck with a pricy invoice

What state do you live in where you can’t walk into a store and walk out with a shotgun? I get it if you were buying a handgun with no CCW but a shotgun. Should be a simple background check and off you go

Today I finished fab on my DIY front skid. 3/16” plate. Should be much stronger than the stocker which is all bent to shit. 3CC02BAE-884A-4607-A00D-71CA203912BA.jpg8EA3011E-5226-4C31-AB79-202D706EC438.jpg86DCAA49-B877-46B1-A50A-74B5DC649518.jpg2FCA18FA-E989-4C9B-B825-D25B7ED3D5B4.jpg

Recently installed Baja Designs Squadron Pro fogs (flood wide cornering) they’re 4900 lumens each and super bright. I absolutely love them, and they are exactly what I was hoping for as a compliment to my light bar. Obviously they’re for off road use only (seriously), and fill in super well for the LightForce 30” dual row spot only bar I have in the SDHQ behind the grille mount. Awesome combo for being pretty subtle. Video link to comparison of lights: https://youtu.be/Jyr0rahXV4g

Wow! Those are super bright. Am I correct in assuming that they may be too bright and too high to use in conjunction with headlights for regular street driving without blinding oncoming?

Yes, they're too bright for street use. Baja Designs makes a street legal set if that's what you're after, they're cheaper too.

Thanks! I went to the site and looked them up. It says that the Squadron SAEs are 150% brighter than OEM and the Squadron Sport WCs are 25% brighter than the SAEs. Although I wonder why the regular SAEs cost more than the Sport WCs? :der:

I'd guess that the SAE's being street legal is the biggest reason.
Taco Twanz did a nice comparison YouTube video a couple days back.

The more you use it the faster you learn. I don't know all I'd like to know about navigating this site and I've been here a while. If there is something you don't know don't be afraid to ask. Someone here will most surely help you out if they/we can. Lots of good and helpful folks here on this thread.

Cool story, brought back memories, I feel like I drove every road in that country while I was there.

I needed a way to transport my 16 foot canoe. I added a single Yakima core bar for the front and a bed extender for the rear. Should work nicely.

    Welcome to TW Bud!
Been using the Darby bed extender since 2011. Probably one of the most practical and useful additions that I've ever bought for my Tacoma.
    Very smart purchase! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

To anyone that doesn't have one this is one of those items that once you use it you'll wonder why you didn't buy one sooner. Takes up almost no space when stored in the bed of your Tacoma. Carry mine almost all the time.

I've always wondered how a setup like this works when the truck articulates. I know some of the roads I traverse to get to fishing spots will make a nice twist to the truck. I think the canoe would take a lot of stress. I put 2 Thule racks on my cab. Don't have a picture with canoe on them. It works well with my 134. Have not tried my 169, yet.

This is so awesome, exactly what I was looking for! How did you attach the square tube to the mounts? And do you happen to have a link for the mounts?
    Again - great idea man!
Edit: How long did you cut the tubing? Thanks!
