I was given a Rav4 when they replaced the springs on my truck. Couldn't stand driving it.

Now the fun begins when they start taking apart the truck and I get a call from the dealer every other day about something else they think should be replaced.

Read through the various frame threads and make your own decisions on what you want to have them replace while they have it apart. Some dealers are really good about everything and some dealers try to take people to the cleaners. The court settlement clearly states “at no cost to the customer”. That basically means that if they broke it getting it apart, it’s their problem and not yours.

There are some things that they will replace for only the cost of the parts. Some things will be significantly cheaper labor than doing it later. Do your homework on this. Ask questions on TW if you think think they’re trying to screw you.

Not bad. Hope you get it back sooner. I couldn't live that long without my truck.
