Yeah It'd be nice I had it on liability and the airbags didn't deploy so I can get it back on the road don’t know how long it will last with no doors but the frames bent but I can straighten and reweld pretty good

Ouch. How bad do you want an offroad toy? Tube backhalf and LT?

Just my opinion, and I could be totally wrong about your situation. When I was paying for liability only insurance it's because I was poor and couldn't afford to pay for actual insurance. I definitely didn't have the thousands of dollars to blow to turn a wrecked truck into a off-road toy and buy a new daily driver. If you have money to literally blow by the thousands on an expensive toy then it doesn't seem like a bad idea.

I keep full coverage my truck because (A) I can afford it, and (B) I’m paranoid because a drunk driver hit my truck almost five years ago, then lied to his insurance company and got them to believe that I’d run a stop sign even though he’d previously killed somebody while driving drunk and got a DUI after hitting my truck!

Not worth it; I was thinking the damage was purely cosmetic and largely concentrated to the bed; That cab looks pretty jacked, and I’ve NEVER trusted a vehicle with a bent frame!

Well if the other driver was at fault and dui then sue him for the lost value of your truck. In many states he won’t be able to get his license back until he satisfies the debt.

If the frames bent perhaps get it straight, flat bed, chop the front fenders, some 35s and go ham with it.
I’d get another truck first imho before doing all that work.

If the crash was not your fault the other operators insurance will pay for your damage. Doesn't matter if you only have liability insurance. If the crash was your fault then you are S.O.L.. I would at least let a good body shop look at at it and get an opinion on what to do with it especially if it is paid for and the other insurance company is paying the bill.

If you have the skills, time, space, and money to tube-frame it, then yes its worth it. Consider it your hobby. If you don't have the skills or time, consider buying someone else's project truck and mix/matching parts. If you dont have the space or money, sell it to someone who does.
