Just got my vacation check in the mail and I'm deemed "essential" by the state of Hawaii so still currently working...so what's the next mod?? Up to this point everything has been functional and not for cosmetics.

    So far:

Lift 2.5" front and rear with JBA UCAs

    295/70/17s on 17x8 0 offset

Home made bed rack with RetraxPro pro MX bed cover

    Homemade prinsu roof rack

    Ditch lights

    Exhaust for the sexy sounds

I'm kinda wanting to do a retrofit headlight mod with some quality projectors and halos. Any suggestions?

I've been back and forth on this probably 10 times already. I listen to country and reggae, which has kept me from upgrading it because I don't need big bass or super high quality lows, mids and high

Leather seats is a no go because I work construction and this is my daily driver for now.

If you do a lot of driving at night I think you would really benefit from a HID retrofit. Those RX350 projectors are top notch paired with d2s HIDs.

I'm looking those up currently. They look easy enough to install. I would really like to put in halos while I'm in there.

Will cost about the same as said retrofit...

ovtune. thought was pricey until i realized how much i spent on my shocks, lower control arms, headlights, tires ...
truck feels to just run and shift smoother. my next mod hopefully will be gears. pretty intimidating for me but might not be that big a deal for you.

You could definitely do all that in a weekend. An RX350 clear lens with halos would be nice. Personally, I don't like the halos but I appreciate whenever someone modifies something themselves. The RX350s with D2S would outperform LED.

    2nd on the sliders though.

Like the little pieces that go on the fender?
I'm assuming that's what you mean. Amazon sells them in different sizes. I got the 1" ones. They are called "ezflares". Surpassingly not cheap for what they are. You'll need to buy two of the rolls. Don't ask how I know. Lol

I do actually offroad. However, my off-roading is sand mostly so skids are not on top of the priority list. I see your point though.

Don't care for the 2020 headlights. Look a little too alien for me. But thanks for the suggestion.

I LOVE halos. Such a clean look when running only the halos during the day time.

Sliders are actually on my "to build" list. I get pipe for free, as well as angle iron and I can weld for free too so definitely won't drop money on those but thanks for the suggestion
