Been hearing whispers of a more strict stay at home order coming. Went out to the store at lunch today and got some extra food and they actually had some TP, I was shocked.

I've just been using the kitchen sprayer...

Actually we had a stockpile before this nonsense due to Amazon subscribe and save, and being too lazy to remove the case of TP on the subscribe and save list for quite a while. So we have like 4 cases of TP currently, haven't had to buy any since this nonsense started.

And what are they going to do, you can't close the grocery stores. Which are basically the only things opened now anyways.

Construction work is still ongoing... They could try to shut that down I suppose.

True, but i mean really not much besides restaurants, hardware stores, and autoparts stores are open. And target/ walmart. I guess they could close restaurants, stop construction etc.. But that's not much of stretch for where we are now.

They're closing parks. They closed up the dog park nearby today at 1. Didn't know but fortunately we went this morning so my dog got some dog interactions. But they're going to be patrolling and issuing fines and whatnot. It's a little too much at that point. I'm still going to have a Catahoula that needs to be running, so I'll be going out one way or another. Plus I'm on shift at office for pretty much 50% of April.

Yup, they are definitely tightening up on all public access to any type of gathering place. The notice below is effective today.

"Due to the COVID-19 public health crisis, Duxbury Beach, all beach-related parking areas and vehicular and pedestrian access to the Powder Point Bridge are closed to the public effective immediately, until further notice."
