Well the wrinkly gal is leela but we call her wrinkus. Shes the sweetest doggo you'd ever meet.... and the little white demon is bean or beanie and as I stated shes a demon for sure, pretty much a love child from terror and affection. Pain in the ass but I love her.

 

I had the sweetest, most docile, family dog in the world for 15 1/2 years, she was one of a kind. Fast forward a year after her passing and we figured it was time to get another. We rescued our first mutt from a shelter as a pup & since we had such great luck, we decided to rescue another.

Oh boy, this one is one of a kind too, a Devil! We are 1.5 years into this project and she hasn't slowed down one bit. Super smart, 100 energy, alpha dog. We ran her DNA out of curiously, it explains a lot - 37.5% American Staffordshire Terrier, 25% Saint Bernard, 12.5% Chow Chow, 12.5% Boxer, 12.5% Breed Group(s)

We had our own "devil". A rescued staff and mastiff mix about 14 months old. 45lbs of pure hell for about 6 months after rescue. She was so full of energy (and an asshole). $4k in a fence later, it still wasn't enough. 6-18 months it was manageable. After her 3 year mark she chilled more. It's been 5+ years since we got her, she's about 6 and 1/2 now. I wouldn't trade her for anything. Still can be full of it at times (her body is starting to argue though), but we deal with it. So full of love, and she's met VERY few people who don't immediately fall in love with her. I want to get an embroidered collar that says "Worth the effort". She was and is. All I can say is sometimes what you put in, is worth 10 fold of what you get out.
