Alright guys, been a awhile since I reposted but since then I’ve gotten my truck inspected, changed the oil and filter, with only 1300 miles on the previous oil and filter change and the dealer found nothing. But luckily I finally got a decent video of my exhaust problem. To answer the question am I losing coolant I haven’t noticed a decrease in fluid but made a mark on the reservoir and been trying keep an eye on it. The smell of the exhaust does smell like its water (condensation settled in the exhaust) and a little bit of gas like one of you guys said. But this morning being much cooler than it has been around 37 degrees and about 2 miles of driving to the nearest gas station this is what I seen once I got back into the truck. Hopefully one of you can diagnose this and tell me I’m worrying for nothing.

My phones not letting me post the video so I’ll do it from the computer later but here’s a pic as soon as I started it up

This looks and sounds normal for cold weather, my truck idles high in cold weather near 1100 RPMS until it reaches operating temp the spike in idle comes from having your blower motor running.

Looks normal, and if you're not loosing coolant, I'd think you're good.

That’s what I’m getting a lot of from the guys I work with as well. Maybe I’m just panicking for no reason. either way I do appreciate everyone’s help and advice on the situation.

Normal and the high idle is initially for engine temp and then for catalytic purposes plus to spin the alternator faster to account for heated seats, blower motor, etc.¹ Remember, too, it's in its pseudo Atkinson cycle too, so it's likely still more fuel efficient to idle up to provide enough power than to switch to normal, high compression at idle. Less noticable to the user too as it's much smoother.

¹this is in a cold weather, high load situation. No, it's not always or particularly often like that, you're just a bit extra sensitive to it. I get that way about things too.

Mine shoots some smoke when it is cold out. Even after 20 min of driving, I’ll still see some vapor when it is really humid out.

If you want, you can buy San exhaust gas leak tester at harbor freight. It plugs in to the radiator cap and it pulls in air through a valve. The air it sucks in passes through a liquid that changes color if there is an issue.
