Yes. I just installed them yesterday. It was a PITA but it turned out pretty good.

Unfortunately, this passenger headlight was a casualty of my impatience.

Least you are working. My company might have to shut down which will have myself, including the two other engineers work from home. Everyone on the shop floor will probably get laid off.

What's up fellas? Been a while since I lurked. Hope all is well, and we are all practicing good hygiene and social distancing. Guess it may be a few weeks until the notice goes up for the TSF run!

I am still working, albeit "working" from home. Helps when you are the primary IT infrastructure support.

What up James!! Good to hear from you man!! You're in...Vegas now, right? Glad you're able to stay safe and work from home. I've had a career change a few years ago and now work in a hospital so I'm still going into work. Currently on my long stretch off but will be back at work on Wednesday.

If anyone here with a 3rd gen would be interested in something like this shoot me a pm. Just built my 2nd one for somebody (1st one is mine). Both have been for 6ft beds, but the short bed wouldn't be different besides the length. I by NO means am a carpenter. Just started doing this with all of my freetime right now. There are small imperfections, but I'll get better with each one. What is great about this setup and what was my original goals was for it to be..

    1. Easily removable
    2. Can have half the system in there if you wanted to
    3. Can customize the size of your dividers (and they are removable to free space)
    4. Great for camping in the bed of your truck. Throw on a rubber mat on top, foam pad and your bags and you have a nice, dry, level and portable camping setup
    5. Overall to be very useful with no wasted space (hence the hinges at the corners). For anyone with a canopy, a lot of us waste roughly 30% of the space. This utilizes that space and allows you to access things in the back without crawling in.

Figured I might as well continue to improve them to see if I'd like to do this a few times a year maybe. If you would be seriously interested pm me. Thanks for looking!

Yeah its too late for my back, lol. 25 years of lifting and pulling things far too heavy for me. It sort of hangs by a string most of the time, waiting for me to do something stupid.

    Hey everybody!

Thinking of finally pulling the trigger on a lift kit. eyeing this one from Head Strong as I've read good things about them here on this forum. Planning on some light offroading once I get everything in order and have some more recovery gear (and when we're past this COVID situation).

    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p401/Coil/Bilstein_5100_Kit_(HS16BK-1).html

I have a few questions I'll save everybody from asking here and ask Head Strong prior to purchasing.

    My question for you all;

Does anybody recommend a reputable shop to install a lift around the Portland Metro area? I like to support local businesses, especially right now with all that's going on. I know many are probably not open so with that, i would also like to support any members here who would like/need some cash/beer/food etc in exchange.

I'm always open to learning new things and my knowledge on automotive is basic oil changes, maintenance, easy install stuff. I respect the social distancing guidelines going on so totally understand waiting until this is all over.

Would also need a recommendation an alignment shop too.

    Thanks and be well.

So im assuming capitol state forest is closed to go just take a drive to get out of this damn house? Need outdoors and fresh air and trees. Any ideas? Tracking camp grounds and such and not looking for that. Just looking for some roads to cruise and find a spot to enjoy a view and a cold beer outside.

Ah I see. Was gonna say there are those lookout points on Chuckanut. Wasn’t sure if you were in Oly or Lake Stevens.

Went to school and lived in Bham for several years - I love that city.
