    Great setup!
The cutting board hinges/brackets - where did you get those?

Just finished up a small drawer. Not as elaborate as most in here, but made out of spare wood and parts that I had laying around the garage to help fill the crippling boredom that is "working from home". Holds a good amount of stuff, and matches the footprint of my fridge and preserves some bed space up front for gas/water/chairs, etc that I normally bring with me camping. Lockable with a padlock, and is bolted through the bed with a pair of 1/4" bolts to keep it from shifting/being lifted out.

Amazon of course. I cut the cutting board to size w a skill saw. Cut great, I was not sure how that would work.

Here are some follow up pictures from when I posted this a year and a half ago...

Here is the platform fully deployed

    FB2BDFCE-3870-48AF-8B1E-C97B9AD01275.jpg
In this picture I’ve deployed my “slide rails”

    E35F6B41-B5A1-4CD6-9AF8-AC4A658B35C5.jpg
The “slide rails” are merely casters on some scrap lumber

    0FCAE166-77E9-4686-9CD8-34A8E662B92F.jpg
Here is the rear panel is pushed up on the “slide rails”

    1CA05A3A-4CCA-41F7-A197-6BEA05DA782F.jpg
And to keep my rear panel in place, I use some quality cam-buckle straps from NRS to keep it from moving

    169DD363-5F3F-4443-B3F9-38674907D60E.jpg
Now I have room for my cooler and other camping supplies to fill out the bed of my truck.

I took a similar approach, you don't this this much... as most put the division length ways rather than perpendicular to the truck. And for the same reason I prefer this and happy with how mine turned as I can stack the platform towards the front of the bed and have lots of easily accessible storage space

    Thanks guys.
After having built a platform before I wanted to try doing it this way. The 3/4" Plywood resting on the ledges that are formed along the length of the bed is able to hold my 200+ pound frame with no issues. Initially I was thinking I would want to build some sort of support for boards down the middle, but I think it seems to hold my weight just fine.
My first platform I built (and first contribution to this thread) can be seen on post #7 & #30 of this thread:

...and like you @Emanresu , I prefer my latest set-up of a platform because I have more versatile use of the bed with the pieces stacked as well as the space under the platform when it is deployed.
Another note, the only reason I had to make the "slide rails" is because my 2011 bed has the cubbies above the wheel wells.
The trim around each cubby prevented me from simply sliding the rearmost board forward on top of the front one.
If you don't have the cubbies above the wheel wells, you likely wont need to create the space between the boards to stack them.

Ahh, good point on the cubbies! I dont have those but still installed plastic strips on the underside of my rearmost platform to help reduce carpet on carpet friction when sliding it forward.

Decided to build a basic platform for fly fishing trips. I've been meaning to for a while. I may cover it in carpet at some point.

Update: I finally finished it up! For those that are interested, the vinyl matting I used on top is the HDX diamond mat from home depot and after some trial and error found that the best option is to use the recommended vinyl glue (or maybe spray adhesive would work well too) in the middle of the panel and the recommended double side tape on the edges.

I just have a 3/4 x 2" piece of 1/8" bar stock with countersunk screws as the latch. I think an actual door latch with the curved lip ground off would work well too.
