So I got hosed on a craigslist ad a while back. Super bowl Sunday to be exact. Bought this Volant and was in a hurry to get home. It was only till the next weekend that I realized the kit had some missing pieces and he had clearanced a hole in the scoop for something. I’ll try and repair it before selling.

All the meat and potatoes are there: Volant air box, reusable filter, scoop and clamps.

Things it’s missing: 2 #8 screws, small 1/8” hose, hose extension for the air pump and a gasket and oring for the MAF. You can reuse the oring that’s on it, but a new kit comes with a new one.

That said, I stupidly paid $220, I’ll let it go for $160 and someone can buy the $5 in parts from a hardware store or direct from Volant.

first photo here is what’s included in the sale.

I went ahead and bought a different kit since I was frustrated with this one. So this has been laying around for a while at my shop. Price is without shipping. Picked up East of Dallas.

I have this exact kit and can vouch that it is great. Certainly dresses up the engine bay. This one is for ‘12-‘15 Tacoma’s though but ‘05-‘11 can make it work, you will have to plug the holes the 2.5 gens air pump sits in.

If you’re handy, a material like plexiglass or a piece of metal and some epoxy.
The hole doesn’t effect any of the filtered air going into the engine, but might let some warmer air from the engine compartment

Here you can see the hole that passes through to the air mount
