I have SPFF and some QYLD and the rest is in a bond fund in my 401K JCBUX.

Edit: I wactually want t osell some SPFF and get into SDIV since the price of SDIV came down a lot more than SPFF and it pays a higher dividend. The next day or 2 will be the monthly dividend so I don't want to touch anything until after that is declared.

SPFF dividend over 10%, and QYLD over 13%. Those are going to have to come down as businesses have to cut. But I’d still hang on for the ride.

‘member how I was talking about oh well GameStop out of business? Taxi business just announced closure in Maine. Another one of those “oh well, they were on the down slope anyway” companies. So far it seems like we’re washing away some of the “dead weight”. Hope it stays to just that.

It'll be interesting to see if/how society changes as a whole - many people are being exposed to new ways of living and new activities. Managers discovering their teams can actually work from home and be productive. Families figuring out they like walking their neighborhoods. Folks figuring out they don't actually need to go shop all the time.

While I don't think people's fundamental nature will change, I imagine we'll come out with a slightly different angle on some things.

yup. This will die down and we’ll all go back to 9 to 5s just as the weather warms up and it becomes nice and kids are out of school. There’s going to be a lot of people saying they’re going to work from home or switching careers to find a way to do it.

    Adding shares to existing positions:

Put in low ball bids on PPL, STOR and GMRE

I can play this game all day, all week, all month.........I have patience, if it doesn't fill then don't sweat it. Which typically means the shares are holding their own or going up. Fine by me. If it goes through on the way down, OK too.

Most every bullish thing I buy pays me to hold. CNP next up.

The market is boring. I’m not making any money and I don’t want to add any more. (I’m supposed to be getting a deck built for the swimming pool and I’m getting married in July so need some freed up cash).
I’m also seeing the effects of COVID19 at work. For an undisclosed amount of time they’ve cut salary employees salaries between 5 and 10 percent depending on the position and they’ve removed all overtime for all hourly employees. They also did away 401k match till the end of the year. And we’re an “essential business.” lol
Time to tighten up I guess.

The market is fun when you get dividends regardless of the random current share value. I have no complaints.

My buddy poked fun at me for buying GNMA and FGMNX late last year. Not that I really expected this big mess, but they have been behaving nicely.

And like I expected, the SDIV dividend dropped by 33% today so it might not be worth it to switch from SPFF (dividend stayed the same today).
