You were close, wasn't the radiator mount

but a metal bracket that holds the front grille, facia, and headlight.
Somehow the 10mm bolt that connects that bracket to the body of the truck got loose enough that made the clicking noise.

@tacoma16 can vouch that it's loud enough that he heard it without issues over the phone.

    lol,

Common problem on tacos, that's why they need service often. Reman calipers do often have better pistons and boots to my surprise.

Well good to know now I guess. The only thing I knew before was to flush the fluid every 60k miles as water builds up and seizes them which is why I had to replace them when I bought it.

Toyota's book interval for brake service is every 2 years. Mud can shorten that drastically as with any brake design.
Toyota specifies a brake fluid flush every 4 years for 2nd gen, and every 3 years for 3rd gen. Brake fluid degrades more with time than with mileage - it's true even for fluid in an unsealed bottle stored on a shelf.

If you install steel braided brake lines, brake fluid flush is no extra effort - just pump the pedal until the fluid coming out of the bleeder looks new.

Average Tacoma owner IQ is slightly higher than average Heep owner. We only go into mud if necessary :anonymous::crapstorm:
