Transmission fluid

Another question,

I've done the procedure to get the oil temp light to come on and now I've added more fluid then what o have emptied. I've tried filling it till some comes out of the overflow bit nothing has come out. My truck have been on for about ten minutes and still no fluid has come out. Any suggestions on what to do?

 

Add more fluid. Your truck could have been low on fluid from the start. If you completed the temp check procedure correctly there’s probably just not enough fluid for the trickle of fluid from the overflow plug.

 

Totally added more after posting this. It finally came out! It's like a new transmission now

 

Good deal. I did an even fluid exchange when I did the flush, but when I performed the fluid level check, no fluid came out of the overflow/check plug, very frustrating. I add a quart, good to go. Judging by a good deal of the post on here it seems as though there’s a lot of under-filled trannys out there. Glad to hear you were able to confirm the fluid level...peace of mind.
