Hey TW, been a lurker for the past few weeks and I wanted to introduce myself. My dad passed back in November and left me his bone stock 2016 SR5. One of my fondest memories of my dad was going to the dealership to get this truck and he let me do a little bit of the haggling with the sales rep. Now it’s mine. It’s my first truck and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. You guys here on TW have been amazing. I never thought I’d be the type of person to work on their own car. My dads always been the one I go to with car troubles. I can’t thank you guys enough for all the tutorials and guides. I’ve found a new hobby that makes me feel closer to my dad. I’m forever grateful to the TW community for making that possible. Anyway here she is:

if anyone’s got ideas for more things I can do please let me know. I’m running out of things to do. I’m a college student so cheap and easy!

Nice truck! Sorry to hear about your dad. When my grandpa passed we got his old 86.5 Nissan hardbody. Loved driving his old truck around.

That’s the plan man. I hope to keep this thing and pass it on to my own kid someday. The best thing about tacos is that they’ll last as long as you take care of them.

My condolences to you and your family.

My dad passed in November 1980 I was 17.

TW experienced owners are a great resource of info and sometimes we disagree but that's what makes us like family.

Through your dad's spirit and your new TW family you'll enjoy driving with him for many years.

    Welcome to TW.
