No weight back there haha. I’ll probably pull a leaf to start. I just hate dealing with leaf packs.

Any reason you didnt go with a 95 pack and pick up an AAL if you needed it?

    QUARANTINE TACOMA MOD DAY

Today I tackled the rear of the truck and got all the new suspension bits on including leaf pack, shocks, U-bolt flip kit, and bumpstops. Knocked it out in an hour and a half not including setup and clean-up!

    Only install pic I took

    CA43E762-2A75-47D2-9670-B903696E7B10.jpg

Finished truck ready for alignment. EL096R back with no weight in the rear. I’ll see how it settles with a rear bumper in a few months.

The wheel color looks great on the truck man! What rear bumper are you going with?

Alignment done. Truck rides damn perfect!

    SPC’s in position E.
    Left Caster: 1.8
    Right Caster: 2.1

Rest is perfect. Didn’t touch the maxed out lower arm.

Very happy to report she drives straight with light steering and no tracking on the freeway.

Truck is driving very well and I’m happy with how it turned out. I will be dropping the truck another 1” lower in hopes to get the Kings to stop topping out. Forgot the limits of MT...

Hoping by dropping an inch up front and removing a leaf in the back, the truck will ride a little better! Then I’ll double check my rear bumps and space them if needed.

Where did you go for the alignment? Did they adjust your SPC UCA's? Truck looks super clean, I really dig it.

I bought another Lifetime Alignment with Firestone.

I adjusted my SPC’s balljoint orientation and camber. Also adjusted the LCA’s. All the tech did was minor adjustment.

Interesting how they top out, I’ve never had problems before but I was +2.

@desertjunkie760 is there a specific length to keep the shock when mounted under load to keep it from topping out? I’ve heard 21” from the tophat to lower shock bolt.

There isn't anything "standardized." The key is to not lift the front too much and ruin your ride quality. You want to keep a good ratio of up/down travel at ride height. The 21" rule originated from @AccuTune Offroad as that's what they find to be a good ratio for these trucks. At least for trucks running Fox 2.5"s. I'm not sure if this is accurate for other shock manufactures as they all have different build specs.
