Looking for some ideas and input. Ive been making shift knobs as a side gig/hobby and im looking to machine some other parts for my truck and maybe sell. I have access to measuring machines/ cnc machines so i can reverse engineer and modify parts. Just struggling to find where to start. Im aiming more towards smaller parts due to the sizes of my machines at work. Whats some stuff you guys arecwaiting to see? https://www.etsy.com/shop/shiftinstyleshop/ this is some of my basic work. Delete if this is not allowed.

Kinda boring but i would buy a 3/8 16 to 12 1.25mm thread adapter for adapting shift knobs with OEM thread to different shifters. (Female OEM thread knob to make aftermarket shifter) I can't find this adaptor online

    I thought the 3rd gen Tacoma automatics shifter threads were 8mm X 1.25 ?!?

It is a small thing but the fan/temp/location for the air on the non premium is a little hard to see at a glance. It is just the actual indicator for the location that is hard to see. I've contemplated using glow in the dark nail polish to mark the tips to make it easier to see from the drivers view. This photo is straight forward. Doesn't quite capture the issue I have from the drivers side.

Anyone else has a similar issue ? unnamed.jpg

Edit: I just went to your etsy
Looks awesome! Don't think the issue I stated is anywhere close to what you're directing towards. Interested in the cool stuff you got.

Edit #2: just throwing it out, if you got time and don't get much that can be a game changer here, have you thought about contacting a local production facility that needs parts for ventilators? With quite a few companies massing on this issue, you can take advantage of your trade, get paid, make some connections, and help the end state.

    Also airborne check your feet

Hey thanks for the feed back. I actually helped make a part to a powdered metal press today that will be pressing parts for ventilators. I work at tool and die shop that specializes in powdered metal tooling. It was cool to feel like I'm helping in some small way.

The truck parts I make are more of a hobby/way to work on my cnc skills than anything. Most weekends the machines are just sitting so might as well get something out of them.

    AIRBORNE!!
