Glad there's an active central VA thread. Looking at the Tacomas in these posts, definitely have seen some of y'all around town.

I live in Mechanicsville near Atlee HS. Do any of you have a shop recommendation to install the following:
    - OME kit (coils, shocks, leaf pack)
    - UCA's
    - ECGS clamshell bushing

I went to Independent 4x in Ashland and they quoted me $1500 to install! They said it would take 4.5 hours for ECGS bushing.. honestly, feel like they are being shady and purposely overcharging me.

I'm all about supporting local businesses but they need to offer a fair price.

Not a single shop around here that I would trust to do work. I do all my own though so I am picky. Should only take about an hour to do the bushing if you are screwing around and having fun. Not exactly sure of the number I've done, but I think it is around 30 or 40. Probably done around 50 or more "lifts" as well. Several on here have received work from me as well. @Coot83 @Demo man @ready6delta

Justin does solid work and dont waste your money on the shops around there, thats way overpriced for a basic lift and bushing.

Are you looking for a cap or cover? I have a Bakflip G2 I no longer need. Came off my 2012 short bed. If interested let me know. Nothing wrong with it. I put a bed rack on so that's why I took it off.

    5100s, OME 887 and 1/4" pacer, 285/75/17s
Don’t quote me but my understanding is 884s are more so for armor up front like full bumper/winch, skits, and sliders. if you don’t have the extra weight they are a pretty stiff ride. That’s why I went with 885. Then eventually to 887s with 1/4 pacer.

Endless honey due list continues .....

Just double checked the OME coils and the 884 and 885 have the same spring rate, different lengths though. The 886 is for weight in the front.
