For those with plate bumpers installed, what did you do with the front half of the plastic wheel well lining that connected to the original bumper?

    1. Take it completely out?
    2. Trim it back and attach it? If so, how?
3.Tuck the whole thing up into the plate bumper?

Cut it back to the plastic fastener. Don't need to mess around with fastening it to the bumper and it doesn't flap on the highway

Yep, I just cut mine at the same angle as the bottom of the new bumper. Tin snips and a box cutter to trim it up.

I just shoved it up behind the bumper.

Do you have any issues with the extra bending back and falling down while driving?

So the whole thing is just wadded up in there? No issues with it falling back down from the wind?

No issues with the remaining front being exposed?

Nope, just zip tied it up in there. One of these days I’m going to hose clamp it, eventually the plastic will give out

No problems. Here is a quick pic of mine.

Nope, it may depends on the bumper. I have an all pro APEX bumper. I was intending on zip tie-ing it but hasn't caused any issues yet. I wouldn't recommend removing it. It does minimize dirt and debris getting flung up in the bumper and engine bay.

I agree with this. If I could do it again, I'd cut it long enough to meet with the bumper to minimize crap flying up in there.

Trim it to the profile of the radiator/headlight support, then secure it to the body mount bracket with a large plastic washer and push-clip:

Tucking the liner into the plate bumper also works. However, it will rub off the powder coat on the contact edge down to bare metal.

I zip tied it up to the bracket underneath the headlights. It helps keep mud and water from splashing upward and into my fog lights

I may have to buy a new set and redo mine. I think I cut them way too far back

The whole liner has to come out if you plan for 35" tires in the near future, without a 6" lift that is.
