    Hey everyone!

Thanks for having me on the forum. I just bought a 2005 Tacoma with 220,000 miles on it, and I cannot wait to start making this an off-road machine! I just wanted to warn everyone that I will be raking through the used parts section, so please don’t get annoyed haha!

I want to build this thing up with all used parts. I will be looking for coilovers, UCA’s, leafs, Skid plates, sliders, and other random goodies.

I know you probably get annoying guys like me all the time, but please be gentle with me.

    Update!

I have found some Toytec Aluma 2.0 coilovers for the front of my ride for $500. I am interested to see the quality of these as I have been a Fox guy my whole life!

A guy local to me bought the wrong ones, and only used them for a week. I will let you know how they compare to the 2.5 factory Fox on my Tundra!

Welp, coilovers are installed. I ended up just tearing the stupid stabilizer bar out of the truck while I work on grinding the stabilizer bar links off of it... they were pretty rusted.

Overall, the install was easy, especially with the support of David @Toytec Lifts. I have not really taken it for a spin yet, because I’m waiting for my JBA control arms, and rear AAF / shocks. So far it feels solid from my rip around the block!

    stay tuned!

Well it’s been a crazy few days.. I found a topper for $60!!!! It’s was maroon, so I painted it black. I love the look of it , but you can tell my back end was sagging without the new toytec shocks.

Good news is, I got my progressive AAL from Deaver and rear toytec alumas on... the bad news is that my topper went flying off when I went off-roading ...

so I had to bend the aluminum back into shape, and replace the side window with acrylic .. what a hassle.. my topper is now bolted on with stainless bolts haha
