end result... (yes I washed the truck as I knew I was going to remove the steps...

any suggestioons for sliders? wife would like something that is a kind of step, but I dont want any low hanging fruit... thats partly the reason those steps ripped off.. now a slider with a top-plate wouldnt be a dealbreaker.. but I prefer DOM if possible, and a rear kickout. bolt on is necessary... I have looked at RCI, and a few others.. but they all look to be around $900-1000 or so shipped to me.

@Mobtown Offroad offers some of the best armor on the market. They sell a version of a slider called the Overland edition. It's a bolt on zero degree slider. Zero degrees offers the best combination of protection and step functionality. My last Tacoma had an early version of their heavy duty bolt on sliders with a bump out. It was also zero degrees. I have friends with 10 & 15 degree sliders that wish they were zero. Another pro for zero degree is they offer a little more protection from door dings.

Also, hit up the Northeast Craigslist thread. I believe there was a set of the heavy duty ones for sale up near you. And we also have a Northeast Tacomaworld Express thread so it's possible to have people on here help get them to you and not pay for shipping.

Shame too that a friend didn't warn you about going off road with those Predators. Selling them could have paid for your shipping.

They are now called Heavy Duty bolt on. I ordered them in 2017 when there was only one version of bolt one. Mine are with fill plates and the tubes at 0*.
