True. Humans are the worst animals ever. They always find a way to fuck good stuff up.

It's cool. I'm an equal opportunity animal lover. I'd be a crazy pet lady if I could. Cats, dogs, goats, rabbits, etc... The only ones that freak me out are the ones I can't pet....and horses. I was bit by a horse when I was 12 so I'd never own one but they're beautiful to look at.

ANIMAL LOVE! :yay: You got bit by a horse? Give them another chance they're very nice creatures. I would like to own one, but only if I had enough land. I dont think they should live in stalls all the time or small pens.

With human interference, yes. Stem cells and cloning.... but otherwise, no.

I got knocked on my ass by a horse as a 5 year old at Knots berry farm. He/she was feeding and I walked up and started petting it's head. He/she reared up and that giant horse nugget caught me under the chin and flipped me on my ass. Got a few more horse stories but let's just say, I got back on. Love horses. Very cerebral critters.

My friends mom growing up was a manager at an animal sanctuary and they had lots of horses and other animals. Walked between 2 horses entering the pen one day and got nipped on the back of the neck. I got lucky that it didn't break skin but the bruise and tearing was a sight to behold. I'm not super scared of them, but they're large animals and I can't let go of that underlying fear that I'll be bit again.

Did the shampoo you were using smell like apples or another fruity/flowery smell at the time?

No, walked under one that was near the front of their feeder. One went to nip at the other while I was walking under and she got me instead. Total accident.

Horses suck. Better yet, the idiots that cut through my yard on horses suck.

On the back of the neck? Oh hell no! I take it back, that must have been terrifying as a kid.

The fact you have a yard that horses cut through doesn't suck, perspective Bobby.

I dated a chick in NM that had a ranch and a retired quarter horse. Bunky. Well, I fed that big sumbitch every morning for about a month. He would nibble and slurp on my neck and head.
So one semi-drunk evening we’re standing by the paddock and she says ‘you should ride him’. I’m like ‘cool but the saddle is way back up in the barn’. ‘You don’t need no stinking saddle’ she says and I bought it. Climbed on that fucker and I swear he was waiting for that moment! He hauled ass all over the damn place and I was yelling and kicking him best I could and jerking on that mane. He finally settled down and we had a great ride but he definitely fucked with me. On purpose.
Horses are smart and they smell fear. Just let ‘em know you ain’t sceered!
