I was more posting the reference for where to cut. There’s a thread somewhere for people who just made a similar cut without actually having the stage 2 bumper.

    looking good, brotha

My poor truck is pretty weighed down in the front with two northstar batteries, full BAMF armor, low pro bumper and winch. I'm trying to avoid adding anymore steel to the front... I want to trim what i have... last case scenario, tubular...

I just have the 1 Northstar 31M . 700lb Icon front coils took care of the weight up front and custom Deaver 900lb leafs took care of the rear! All running on 34" Cooper STT MAXX. Added 4.88 gears and OVtune and i hope to have OVtune Twin Turbos when available!

It's cut up to this point. Eventually I'll make a custom liner to fill that opening into the engine bay. But I may be doing a bumper sooner than I thought so I'm going to hold off.

hmmm, gotcha.. Thx for the photos. I just realized that i will have to add a stiffner to keep my bumper from flopping in the wind if i follow this cut... The way the bumper was cut to accept the c4 fab bumper, the only thing holding things together is a little arm / tab that holds this bottom section from flopping... I can totally make something...NBD. I've yet to catch the front bumper on any rocks, I've come close though... mostly on approach and sliding off a rock... thx again for the photos... def going this route.
