I remember I helped a friend pick up an 80” LED tv from Costco. Took it to his place, mounted the brackets, got it mounted, turned it on and the screen had a hairline crack about 20 inches long. So we had to undo what we did, brought it back to the store to get a replacement. Good times

Okay can I play? With everything closed we've been bored and cooking a lot at home. Yesterdays freezer-meat experiment: London broil braised in red wine over roasted garlic mashed potatoes and a side of chow chow:

    92299809_558148584821805_406106818742321152_n.jpg

It came out pretty good. The wine was Notre Dame des Pallieres from the Rhone region.

Why a London broil? We've got 1/2 cow in the freezer and the challenge is always figuring out what to make with the cuts that aren't so glamorous.

    edit: wine pic:

Awesome looking entries, the both of you!

I have them marked and will get them in the submission post once the deadline comes. I want to consolidate them all at the same time.

    Great job and good luck!

Coffee is a beverage even if it's instant? (Also there is milk in there so... Double credit?) :crapstorm: chocolate and coffee cup cakes with homemade chocolate buttercream...

Haha they do have that emoji look... This is the first time I'm made frosting or piped anything. I put them in the fridge while I made the frosting but the cake was probably a little warm so it only escalated the excrement look

It’s all about the taste. Coffe amps up the chocolate flavor. :)

Little Brisket action seasoned with Meat Church-Holy Cow.
225 for about 6ish hr Pecan wood cause that's all I had in stock.
Got the flat up to 195 and the point to 202.
My first attempt at burnt ends. They end up pretty swell.

Next time I'm gonna try injecting the flat, it's always too dry IMO

Planning on making chili with the leftovers.

Was the whiskey used or just for the chef? :D
