Hey everyone, my turn signals and hazard lights aren't working. The turn signals will flash once and then stop. Hazards don't work at all.

I took it to the dealer in Sunnyvale since my two year bumper-to-bumper warranty runs out next month but they said they couldn't look at it because of my aftermarket accessories. (Light bar, power tailgate lock, powered steps, bed lights) They want me to remove all of that before they do anything besides checking fuses which they did.

Backstory: I stupidly plugged in a partially sheared 7 prong plug from a rented camping trailer to see if it might still work and right away smelled burning plastic in the cab. We unplugged it but the turn signals won't work and neither will the hazards.

Any ideas on what the culprit could be? Anyone know of more mod friendly dealers in the SF Bay Area?

I'd start with checking the fuses. But burnt wiring is never a good thing. Highly doubt it would be a warranted item even without the mods

Thanks Bill, I checked the fuses and so did the dealer. So you don't think this would be covered under the warranty?

If you plug something up and wiring started melting....I'm guessing no. They would probably lay the blame on the faulty trailer plug
