For the first time I'm having trouble diagnosing a problem and wouldn't you know it's electrical. My weakness. Went to put vehicle in gear while back and it acted like my foot wasn't on the brake. I turned key off started it tried again. Nothing. I then pulled the clip off next to shifter and pushed the button and shifted. Since then I can not shift unless I push the button. After the first incident I noticed I didn't have brake lights and no rear turn signals. Now I don't know if those were a problem before but that was when I tried the brake light switch. I changed the brake light switch on the pedal and still can't shift properly.
