For all you guys playing SNES and Sega Genesis- check out a company called HD Retrovision. Those guys had a kickstarter campaign a couple of years ago and are huge contributors to the retro gaming community. They make awesome component cables for retro consoles and modern TV's which literally make the games look like new HD versions of themselves. It's like a $25 cable. Met them at an event an arcade event a year ago- super cool guys.

The 2600 was my first game system. Received it as a Christmas gift back in 1981. I still have it to this day. The last time I remember using it was back in 1997.

I've wanted to order some of their cables but I don't have a need right now. I run everything via RGB cable to a Framemeister for upping the resolution. I do hope they make an HDMI cable for PSP though. I have a component cable but find it pretty hard to use on modern Tvs

There is one somewhere... it's an component a/v to hdmi adapter. I saw it when I was looking for the cord to mirror my phone to my tv.

There's also a coax to hdmi conversion too.

Working on Metal Gear Solid on PS1. Always wanted to beat it and I've had it in my collection since PS1 came out when I was in college.

Just beat Metal Gear 4 on PS3 which just made me want to start from the beginning.

I have a Razer Phone 2 that runs Retroarch (perfect for traveling combined with an 8bitdo controller and hooks up to any TV with hdmi) and I'm working on this game right now.

It's a work of art. The soundtrack is incredible. They don't make this like this anymore. I never had an SNES growing up, was a Genesis kid but I always wanted one.

Taking it to the next level. Sick setup.

I collect just a bit. I'm all about beating games so I'm fine with emulation. I do collect PS1, PS2, and PS3 though.

I stopped collecting as much as I used to because the market skyrocketed. When I started, these consoles were next to worthless. Now that retro gaming has taken off, it’s expensive to get into collecting.

It's crazy how expensive they have become. I really want a Dreamcast, but I'm not paying those prices. I'll just stick to Redream and RetroArch.

Same with me... but my want is the 3DO.

Trending on ebay for like $250... without games.

They re-released 'Spyro' from the late 90s on Steam. I played this game back in high school 20 years ago! I had to pick it up for the nostalgia. Everything just the same as I remembered it. Planning to gift it to my niece as I think she will love it.

That was a good game. I've thought about hunting down Ecco the dolphin from sega to play. I wonder if it's on the mini genisis?

Just bought Cruisin’ World for my N64 at my local shop. Much harder than I remember from 20 years ago!

Something about the old systems. Simpler times I guess.

Me myself, I'm a PlayStation junkie. I did like Bond though on N64.
