From Amazon. You might want to get the "fits 1/8 edge" as 1/16th did work, it just took a lot of time to get it on the fender flares. 1/16th is great for sheet metal on the truck however

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NL3YN7O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Fits 1/16” Edge, 9/16” Leg Length, 25’ Length

Did a super quick fog lights anytime mod. I’ll probably go back in over the weekend and add an in-line fuse. 3-5A would do I think

Redid the fog light anytime by adding a 3A fuse for extra protection. I started tackling my wiring on the truck today. :anonymous: Adding quite a few goodies

Been a busy last couple days! Picked up some goodies, working on a Switch Pro install, trying to fix my ARB compressor, and installed some Baja Designs S2 flush mounts to the rear bumper

I also figured out a way to use a 500A battery isolator for the winch, so it only gets power once the isolator gets a 12V signal from the SwitchPro

Rudimentary solution, but this will help prevent the bedsides from flapping in the wind down the highway. Grade 8 bolts, hardware, and L brackets from tractor supply. Working on painting and cleaning it up now

Added studded fuel tank straps to the truck for this pelfrey fuel tank skid once I get it repainted. Once it’s on, I got a complete set of skids front to back

Finally got the SwitchPro dialed in, thanks to @XPOTRPR and his bezel. I’ll probably write up a 'how to' post whenever I get some more free time

    Stuff still left to do:

-Install fuel tank skid (now freshly painted)
    -Finish rebuilding ARB Compressor
-Put Decked System fully back in
-Wire SwitchPro 2nd trigger to reverse light power

-Seal up driver seat floor grommet
-Fix/put in another 3rd brake light
-Put truck cap back on and re-install Hi-lift jack and axe/shovel mounts
-Put in the ultimate headlight upgrade wire harness and new bulbs
    -Install hood scoop anti-glare decal
-Switch out Firestik antenna for a 4ft one
    -Repaint exhaust with 2000*F paint

-Weld up mountain bike mount to swingout
    -Fix metal jerry can holder
    -Restore Headlights

    -Finish refurbishing ComeUp 9500 Winch
-Powerwash synthetic winch line (may replace)
-Sand down front bumper and repaint
-Install Baja Designs Squadrons into new bumper with winch
-Put on new front bumper and align
-Wire winch to battery isolator that's hooked up to the switch pro

-Sell 34' tires and buy new 35's
    -Alignment
    -Upgrade battery to 27F style
    -Add voltage booster
    -Detail exterior/interior
-Start on sanding down frame rust and repainting

    And most importantly:
    -Update build thread list
-(try to go enjoy the truck for once since I've been so busy)

.... probably more stuff I'm forgetting about

    Damn that’s a list! Lol
I do like the switch pro placement. I may have to consider that over the other switches I was gonna put there.

how bad is the winch line? Idea, make the old line an extension and put a fresh line on the winch? There’s a Facebook guy that sells the line at what seems a good price.

Switch pro is definitely worth it in my eyes. Tons of functions that will be super useful in the future.

As for the winch line, it’s not bad at all, the worst part is how it connects to the drum of the winch. The little Allen screw is stuck and I’ve been working at it over the past couple days. I can almost get it unscrewed, but I don’t want to put a lot of tension on it before it breaks. I was thinking that maybe the liquid wrench or whatever I’m using is an abrasive chemical to the winch line... maybe I’m just over thinking it and it’ll be fine. I can always replace it when it snaps and that’ll save me like $150

Forgot to add in that list: eventually, I would like to have you guys put on some Hammer hangers and do the rear shock bucket for 12-14in shocks! But that’s in the future whenever I can get back to Colorado

Here are some photos of the winch line. Overall, I’d say it’s in pretty good shape and should be fine. Just trying to remove the end of the rope from the drum so I can finish sanding down the dirt and surface rust to repaint it.

I may just cover the end of the rope with duct tape and slowly grind down around it with a Dremel bit

    image.jpg
    image.jpg image.jpg

Mechanical wise, the winch is in great condition, just need to spruce up the exterior
