Washed the patio and patio chairs. We had snow twice last week and will have another light dusting Saturday, but it was 60° today so...

Also looked around to see what summer projects I have. Let’s see... paint the sheds, fill the new beds (got landscaping curbs early fall), see if the wife will decide to keep the patio roof as is or if she wants a peak, then can’t redo the beams and paint, decide on trees (birch or aspen likely) to block the view of the back neighbors, dump the trailer after quarantine so I can park it back in its spot. Swap the little shed on right for a 10x20 she shed. Ugh... fuck summer projects

Do you use those sleeves on the pouches for your hammer(s)? Or do you have a dedicated swivel holster for hammer?

There is a hammer holster under the right hand bag in my pic

Its a sleeve for your hammer versus a loop

Might be easier to understand in this pic from their website

yeah , seems like a great innovation

every review I watched or read on these bags with the hammer holster starts with the person saying something along the lines of "I thought having the hammer between the bag and your leg would be uncomfortable but it's not" and then they go on to say how awesome the holster is after you get used to landing your hammer there

I've only worn this rig for literally 30 min after I got home tonight just adjusting the belt straps , suspenders and bag locations but the whole set up feels comfortable and all the tool locations in the bags seem to work for me

Is it light? Looks like a well thought out set up, tool placement wise that is. I have this one that I love, the only thing I dont like is the empty wieght, if I ever wear this set up out I am going with all synthetic I think.

very light , which is most of the reason I decided to go this route over another set of leather bags

Has anyone use Lanco Ultra Siliconizer Reflective roof coating or Henry Durabrite Elastomeric Roof Coating paint on wood siding?
Theres one side of my house that gets very warm during the summer. I can feel That wall get slightly warmer from the inside. HOA is extremely anal about me putting/building any type of shade on that side of the house because it is visible from the street.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

I am going to install some composite decking. There are so many brands available does anyone have any recommendations? What about experience with the Menards brand Ultradeck or Trex?

I had Trex on one of my previous homes. It looks nice but gets hotter than hell so no bare feets for sure. And you do have to run your joists on 12" centers.

Having a machine like this helps with stuff like that.

My vocabulary was greatly expanded my first few times.
I even made up some good words during my epic fits of rage. lmao.

Then I got a 12” compound sliding miter saw.
    Life was “a littler” easier.

I just do not understand how on my 90 degree corner, when I cut two pieces both at 45 degrees, upside down, top to table, every damn tip and direction on YouTube and google and my damn corners don’t line up. What in the hell...

85% of the composite decks I build in Colorado are TimberTech, a capped composite. Fiberon is another good product, and finally Wolf Home Products. With any composite you can pretty much guarantee it will be roughly 17 degrees warmer than a wood deck.
