Anyone know if the 2013 fog lights listed will fit a 2008 that did not come with them? Are all Tacomas prewired for fog lights and just have to pop off the plastic inserts or will I need to get the harnesses for the fog lights? I will need to change the light switch on the steering wheel for one with fog lights switch too.

wish I could make is easier....and just buy a brand new Tacoma!

Unfortunately the foglights aren’t compatible. You would need to look for one from a 2005-2011

Is this keyed alike to the vehicle key? Functioning last time it was used?

Yes, this was keyed to my truck key. Worked perfect, just replaced because it was faded.

gotcha, I may be wrong, but from a little searching the pop n locks can't be used with another vehicle key after its been coded to one. Might depend on model #

I think you are correct. Unless you can get another drum and re-key. not sure if that is possible tho. If not, I'll just trash it
