Thank you! I’ll definitely do some more homework on these options. The only reason I was considering the block is because I was informed it would give me a small lift and maintain the softer factory ride in the rear.

My three leaf also gives me a soft ride but also have a longbed with a loaded tool box in the bed. I also use the backseat for passengers a lot too so the extra leaves never hurt.

Like I said, plenty of people run blocks without issues but I prefer the 3 leaf set up.

Thank you! I certainly will. I just got my wheels ordered. I went with 16” Ray10s in gunmetal. So, I’ve taken the first steps. Will be ordering my lift soon! :spending:

Damn. Just saw this after ordering my 888's OME complete kit from headstrong. I went with Method 312 with 285/70/17. If you can, take some measurements before and after. I'm curious how the numbers will add up. @IrishRed

I went through the same struggles you went through. It's a lot of money to worry about. One thing I will say is you dont need e rated tires. Even the Ford Raptor comes with c rated tires.

This is exactly how I want my truck to sit. Can you tell me a bit more about how you’re liking your setup? Any regrets? How does it ride? Where are your Bilsteins set? Wheel specs? Anything else you did like ECGS bushing etc.? Sorry for all the questions, but I love your truck and want to achieve similar results. Thank you!!!!

I have the OME 887 coils paired with some 90021's up front, BP-51's in the rear with an Icon RXT leaf pack (on option 2). 265/70r17 Falken Wildpeaks. If you are going to put a lift in the front I would never put blocks in the back. I would do an AAL and call it a day with some rear OME shocks. Otherwise, just put lift spacers in the front and blocks in the back if looks is all you are after.

Your truck looks good. I’m definitely after more than just looks. I want performance too. The only reason I was considering a small block in the rear is because I was informed that this would give the softest ride. I was told all the other leaf options would stiffen the ride because their main purpose is to support more weight and the increased ride height is a result of that.

I don’t haul anything really heavy on a regular basis, so I was looking for something that had the least impact on the soft factory ride in the rear. If this line of thinking is incorrect, I’ll gladly do an AAL or a progressive 3 pack. I just want to avoid a harsh bouncy ride.

Take a look at the RXT from Icon. It has 3 options for ride height and load capacity. I like it because it always gives you the option to do whatever you may want to do in the future without the investment you already made. The aal isn't a bad idea either.

I felt like the stock suspension felt like a mini van, the 5100’s feel more like a truck but still comfortable. theyre 887 springs and my 5100’s are set on the lowest setting. I’d probably buy these again if I were to do it again. The wheels are 16x8 0 offset. My only regret is buying a 2wd, so no ecgs bushing.

Did you get your Eibach coils installed yet? If so, how are you liking them with your 5100s and how much lift did you get after breaking them in a bit?

Yep I have them installed. I set the Bilsteins at the 2nd clip with Eibach springs and still have about 2.5" lift in the front. The back also has 5100s with a Wulf AAL from Amazon. Got about 2" in the back. I really like the setup! A lot more stiff than the SR5 suspension, which was way to soft IMHO.

Here is one of the latest pics I have taken, tires are 285/70/17s and I did a cab mount chop and moved the fender liner forward an inch. I was rubbing quite a bit up front before moving the liner forward but wheels have -12 offset.

I know it’s been a while since you posted this. It works out for the point of the question. How’s the shocks doing? And how does it drive? Notice any sagging? I’m installing a similar set up except with an HS AAL
