I literally sat in my truck for 5 minutes today to “charge the battery”.

Went out for hour drive then head back home. Windows down blasting music. Enjoying the outdoors without stepping out of my car.

I kinda did the same thing, I pulled my rear seats out to put in some sound deadener. But when I was done I let the truck run for about 30 minutes to the fluids running and the battery back up to full. I think I have used more gas now idling in the driveway than I have driving...

Our company adopted Teams last month. Had my first conference call using it today (we normally use WebEx.) What a pain in the arse it was to peel the electric tape off my laptop camera.

We give away little sick-on camera doors at conferences. I might have to steal a few.

I should put one on my official corp laptop, even though I mostly only boot it for timesheets.

The newer trucks don't have a factory gas cap holder?

Nope. Hasn't bothered me until recently, oddly. I just wrapped the gascap tether around the door latch. About a month ago the wind finally kicked up and knocked my cap into the fender. damnit, Meso got himself another customer.

Bought my Pro on March 2. Drove it home from Houston...now has a whopping 175 miles on the odometer.

A truck has no feelings it can't feel pain. Worst case dead battery. Because of the amount of parasitic drains in mine from the two way gear I just leave it on a small trickle charger it's a great deal better than running it to charge the battery.

    None yet.....
Mine is in quarantine at the factory. I was supposed to have it by the end of this month. Now.....who knows. Maybe June if I'm lucky.

This is the first time I've ever worked from home. Working in Construction doesn't usually allow for that. But, now that I'm a Project Manager, it seems it can be done. Like a lot of people, I was introduced to Teams for the first time 2 weeks ago. Like Dennis Hopper once said, "Interactive TV, Jack. Wave of the future!"

A little of this and a little of that.
It’s been a month since I’ve driven my truck, just sitting in the garage. I need to wash the pollen off.

Been at work every day, all day, no break, since this started. Supposedly "essential worker" in virus central; Santa Clara County, CA. Take care and stay safe everyone.

Similar. I got mine on the 6th of March, drove it home (2.5 hours) and have only driven it twice since. I work from home so this House Arrest isn't really anything different for me during the week. I do use Teams and Microsoft 365 a lot, have been using Zoom for some meetings of late - not a fan but part of that may be due to the band width issues others are experiencing. Once this weather settles here I am headed to the hills with the dogs - and wife - for a few days of camping.

Bought my truck last Friday, and daily drive it to work, since our industry is essential. Thinking of taking a road trip with my dog to get out of the house, drive on the highway, but, wondering, here in Ohio, if they can actually pull me over to give me a ticket for driving ,for the hell of it. I will be alone. when this is all over, would love to meet up with fellow Taco owners in Ashland area or anywhere and drink a few beers and drive.

    Pain free for me.

Its a utilitarian vehicle for me. Sports cars and hot rods are what are fun to drive!

    On pavement of course.

Off road holds little interest for me after 10's of thousands of those miles for work.
