    Hello,

I’m new to the 4x4 scene. I know the importance of airing down the tires when off road. What are your guys recommendations on tire inflator? I know about ARB but what are your other recommendations. I’m trying to stay below the $200 market at the same time want to be done inflating in about 15minutes for all 4 tires. I’m still running stock wheels and tires. I’ve seen smittybilt 2780, whats your thoughts on it. Any recommendations is appreciated.

A little over your budget but includes a tank is the Puma 12v compressor. I’ve had mine for about 6 years and it airs up 37’s from 15 to 35 psi in less than 2 minutes per tire. More like a minute. Yes it’s bigger than some others but the pump can be separated from the tank if wanted.

Another option would be the ARB twin compressor if I was to consider buying a new one.

Buy once cry once. Plan your purchases wisely so that your not buying twice as your needs expand while you dive deeper into this hobby

ARB dual compressor setup is like $500-800. Way out of the budget so don’t recommend. I bought the cheap viair knowing I may go 35 tires in a couple years. $65 for 3 years ain’t bad.

Pumas are popular with the LC crowds, it's a good AC

Keep an eye out for ARB group buys, pretty good deals, could also consider a powertank

I went with Extreme Outback. I'm using the Magnum (which is above your price range), but they have a full line to choose from. AND, Made in the USA.
